Dr Yijun Lim is a Primary Eye Care Physician with a clinical foundation in both ophthalmology and community medicine. Her medical training includes postings in Ophthalmology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where she supported the care of patients with glaucoma and other chronic eye conditions.

 

Drawing on experience across geriatrics, palliative care, and transitional medicine, Dr Lim provides accessible frontline eye care for patients of all ages, with a special interest in managing early symptoms and integrating long-term care planning.

With an emphasis on whole-person care, Dr Lim has served in diverse roles across Singapore’s healthcare system, including youth health and hospice home care.

 

She believes in clear communication, continuity of care, and building trust with patients and caregivers, especially in community settings where early detection of eye conditions can make a lasting difference.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), National University of Singapore

  • Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (GDFM), College of Family Physicians Singapore (in progress)

  • Completed rotations in Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Palliative Medicine across major institutions in Singapore
